The District 13 American Advertising Awards, known as the Peles, went off in grand style this past Saturday night, April 26th. WAGNERVISION had four spots in contention, and all four came home with awards for their respective agencies, Wall-to-Wall Studios and Anthology.
In the :30 TV spot category, we won the Bronze, Silver, and Gold — a clean sweep — for Hawaii Energy “Slippers”, Hawaii Energy “Rice” and HEMIC “Seafood” respectively. This means that “Seafood” is on its way to the National Addy Awards later in the year.
In the campaign category, Hawaii Energy won the Bronze and HEMIC won the Gold!
And HEMIC “Seafood” went on to win Best of Show!
It was a huge night, and I’m grateful to the creative team at both Wall-to-Wall and Anthology for giving me the opportunity to direct these spots.
